Letter 18
Greetings Tim,
This is Jay. I am on vacation now for five days. The weather has became cooler since the day before yesterday. Actually, I don't like any types of weather except sunny day. I love summer so much, but I don't love my body full of sweat lol.
The second day of my vacation, I went back to my hometown Jinshan, which is in the northeast Taiwan, and we cleaned the tomb there. Each time I go back to Jinshan, I always feel a little embarrassed. I grow up in a traditional family, I have plenty of relatives, plenty of relatives I do not know. Because my great-grandparents have 10 kids, and my grandfather is the second one; his wife and he have 7 kids(two daughters and 5 sons), and my daddy is the first one. In other words, I have 4 uncles and 2 aunts. How a big family!!!!! Whenever it is April 5, Tomb Sweeping Day, I will handle lots of questions from other relatives. It is tired that I talk about some my information with them. I always think why I should talk to them about me. We only meet each other at most once a year. There is no reason I should talk to them, and I am unable to be impatient.
