Letter 3

Hi Tim, it's time to write something to you again. The day that terrorists hijacked four passenger planes at Boston’s Logan Airport was so horrible. I was 11 months old then, so I didn't have any impression on it until I grew up. There are still a mass of terrorist attacks in some places now;for instance, Brussels, Paris, London so on. And the ISIS claimed that the terrorist attacks they launch wouldn't stop;the places they chose to assault inclusive of the USA, the UK, and even Taiwan, but something fortunate, ISIS regard Taiwan as a country instead of considering Taiwan a province belonging to China lol. It shocked me a lot. We are a country!!!  Nevertheless, I have no idea what to do if we are really under attack. Tim, if ISIS attack your country, what would you do ?
Recently, one of our courses named citizen and societies is teaching us the constitution and laws in Taiwan and let us get to know some interpretations of the text. There was a interpretation of the text regarding gay marriage on May 24, 2017. Our justice of the constitutional court adjudicated that it violated to forbid same-sex marriage, and required the legislature to modify civil law §972 or make a new law to guarantee LGBT groups against that unfair law now. That's so great! Everyone can get married to the one he or she loves to each other. I remembered the USA legalized gay marriage in 2015, and some people changed their profile picture of Facebook into rainbow to celebrate this good thing. There are a lot of people say, "Two men or two women are not able to bear a baby so that the birth rate will decrease sharply. " It is so ridiculous! Even though gay marriage isn't legalized, the birth rate is still decreasing sharply now. The reason of the decrease in birth rate is because it's so hard to raise self, so not mention to kids. And some people also say,"If gay marriage is legalized, the population of gay and lesbian will increase." This opinion is weird, too. Excuse me, the population of gay and lesbian account for at most 5%. Just more and more gays and lesbians are brave to come out of the closet. That's all.  It doesn't matter that a boy love a boy or a girl love a girl. Love is king;king is love. Love wins! I hope that Taiwan can be the first country which legalize gay marriage in Asia.
